Tufts College Class Day in The Rain Draws Thousands
Rainy class day at Tufts College drew thousands to Church Hill events from 9 a.m. to midnight. Seniors heard orations and poems in Goddard Chapel with President Capen’s opening prayer, amid music by the Salem Cadet Orchestra and a new college yell. Activities moved indoors with a tree ceremony in the gym, a dinner, a band concert, and a ball despite downpours and ruined attire.
