Charles L. Tucker was electrocuted at Charlestown State Prison at 12:12 AM for the murder of Mabel Page. Three electric shocks were used. he faced death calmly, reading a brief statement and maintaining his innocence to the end.
The condemned murderer Charles L Tucker walked to the electric chair in Massachusetts with calm defiance and a final reading from a pocketed paper. He declared forgiveness, peace with his Maker, and asked mercy for his soul as guards strapped him in and the switch was thrown.
