A devastating Fargo fire broke out at 3 PM in a Second Street restaurant. Wind sped flames across the district, gutting blocks toward Broadway and across the river to Moorhead. Rescue crews from Grand Forks and Duluth- Crookston aided as bridges vanished and the city burned, with losses reported around 2 million dollars.
