Yale and Harvard crews practiced on the Thames River in New London. Harvard opened its season with the varsity eight and four oared boats under Coach Higginson. Coxswain changes and examinations delayed some crews as freshmen prep crews arrived.

The Interscholastic Association of Amateur Athletes of New England holds its meeting this afternoon on Soldiers Field Cambridge under Harvard management. Events include 100 yard dash 220 yard dash quarter mile half mile one mile 120 yard hurdles 220 yard hurdles running high jump running broad jump pole vault 16 pound shot and 12 pound hammer.

Miss Osgood Wins Boston Women's Golf Championship at Oakley

Miss Fanny C. Osgood of Brookline Country Club captured the Women’s Golf Association of Boston title at Oakley Country Club Watertown defeating Miss Harriet S. Curtis of Oakley 4 up and 3 to play. Curtis fought well but Osgood’s driving and precise second shots secured the win. Enid Merrill of Newton Centre won the consolation trophy over Mrs. F. G. Davis of Allston 1 up after a tight final.
