In Chautauqua on June 4 Mrs Colton a widow died after treatment by Dr Elderkins. Mrs Harwood found Colton dead and the doctor in a dying state. A letter claimed Colton died of heart failure and the doctor took morphine to end his life. The doctor also died, his will found among papers.
George W. Boynton of 106 Chestnut Street, a Boston dry goods worker, was thrown from a high spirited horse on Back Street yesterday near 461 Beacon Street. He hit his head in a ditch, suffered a concussion, and remained unconscious at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is 35 years old and in critical condition.

Correiro, a 21 or 22 year old Portuguese man, is under arrest on the charge and denied making statements about a large bill. The shoe dealer identified Correiro as the man, and excitement ran high as papers rushed extra editions.
