Salesman killed by car in Brockton horror tragedy

A man was found murdered near a ravine by a Park Avenue farm outside Danbury. The killer struck the victim on the head with a heavy instrument, washing away much of the blood. Looted goods from Wilson’s Mill Plain store were found nearby, suggesting the victim may be one of the burglars and that his companions killed him before leaving the body. The dead man had not been identified by nightfall as police investigate.
