Harry Green, 37, of Plaistow New Hampshire, arrested by Boston Division 5 after a fight at Plaistow Town Hall and Union Hotel left Joh B Huntress near death. Green allegedly struck Huntress with a cuspidor following a dispute over two girls. He was traced to a South End hotel within forty minutes.

Pro Irish League meeting disrupted by police raid
Two hundred police were sent to Newmarket to quell a forbidden United Irish League gathering. Three Electrical Fires Sweep City After Storm
A storm caused three small fires in Boston. Lightning struck a two story dwelling at 13 Leeds street owned by Frank Wilson, injuring occupants James Colling and Thomas Gorman. A second blaze at 14 Langdon terrace touched off by a lightning strike damaged the roof, costing $26.
