Three people were injured when a market gardeners wagon collided with an electric car on Massachusetts Avenue near Appleton Street in Arlington. Three horses ran away and two teams were demolished in the crash occurring early last evening.
John J. Kineen, wagon driver from Lexington, was thrown 30 feet and taken to Symmes Hospital with a wrenched back after a collision with a carriage. He tried to clear the car and collided, dashing his loaded wagon and frightening Lyons’ horse. John Lyons and his daughter Ruth, 15, were thrown but unharmed, though Ruth suffered multiple cuts.
Boston sweltered as temperatures jumped with three people prostrated. The day stood as the hottest June 2 in the Boston weather bureau record, save for one exception.

Mrs Frank Keating of Kimball Street Dorchester says police stopped her while she rang a fire alarm and detained her from rescuing her children. She suffered nervous strain and is described as in a state of nervous collapse after the incident.
Miss Katherine Keating awakened her mother during a Saturday dawn fire at 7 Kimball Street and helped several people escape without injury.
