Blind Boy Run Over by Express Wagon in South Boston

Joseph Walsh, 15, inmate of the blind asylum on Broadway, South Boston, was yesterday afternoon struck by an express wagon on Court Street belonging to Houghton's Hudson Express Company. He suffered a slight scalp wound, dressed at Station 2, and was then taken home by a friend.

Francis J. Holland, a 25 year old college graduate, was found insane by a Superior Criminal Court jury. He was committed to Taunton insane asylum after charges of obtaining furniture valued at 576 dollars from Atkinson's on Washington and Pleasant streets. prior insanity noted.

Lightning Sets Haverhill House Afire on Saltonstall Ave

During a heavy shower in Haverhill lightning struck the residence of George L. Emerson on Saltonstall avenue. The current ran down a chimney starting a fire damaging costly furniture. Loss by fire and water is about 2000 dollars and insured.

Newsboy Run Down by Electric Car on Warren Street

Alexander C. Pinkham a 16 year old newsboy attempted to board an outbound electric car on Warren street near Dale about 6 last evening. He lost his balance and fell his body rolled under the car the wheels passed over his left foot amputating his toes. He was treated by Dr Fillebrown and taken to City Hospital. Pinkham lives at 50 Sherman street.
