Joseph Wesley, a travelling salesman, was arraigned yesterday in Municipal Court on charges of assault and battery against Lillian Jewett at 662 Massachusetts Avenue on May 29. Bail was raised from 100 to 300 after arrest, and the case continued to Tuesday.
James Desmond aged 245 of 33 Wanping Street was hurt at Mystic Wharf Charlestown when a flour barrel fell on him injuring his back and fracturing his left knee. He was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.
