Adolescent river body found at Newburyport in a paper box

New Orleans July 29. At 4 am gauge of the Chicago St Louis and New Orleans railroad was changed from 5 foot to four feet eight and a half inches. The 550 mile main line to Cairo and the 21 mile Kosciusko branch were finished and trains were running by 3 pm. Over 3000 men worked on the project, the largest gauge changing feat to date.
