A HEAVY DEFALCATION INVOLVING INSURANCE AGENT PRIN DLE

Henry Prindle, agent for Atlantic and Pacific Insurance of Chicago and People's Insurance of Philadelphia, vanished after a wave of defalcations. Suits filed in Philadelphia attach remaining assets as losses range from 60,000 to 100,000 reacting to the collapse. Prindle reportedly left aboard a steamer to Europe last Saturday and sent his family earlier. Philadelphia despatches confirm the People's Fire Insurance Company collapse and larger misappropriations estimated around 300,000.
