Streetcar service plan eyed to ease Sunday crowds at Revere Beach
A cooperative effort by the Eastern Massachusetts street railway and the Revere police aims to improve Sunday service to Revere Beach. Police Chief John J. Dyer received a praising letter from Frank I. Hardy of Chelsea district railways, with another conference planned. The railway blames automobilists for delays, warning blockades endanger crowds of excursionists unless authorities regulate moves of cars and streetcars. In a separate case, Vincenzo Procopio and Rosina Bettina face fraud charges in Central Court over $1400 paid to procure a wife and home, with Forti allegedly duped before the scheme unraveled.
