A four story brick Beebe block at 262 to 280 Dover street suffered a major fire. The blaze started on the third floor discovered by a watchman who escaped via a rear window with a rope. Concord New Hampshire July 23 The directors plan a special meeting at Sunapee Lake where they are expected to sign a five year traffic contract with the Boston and Lowell road. The agreement would have the Boston and Lowell operate the Nashua and Acton line and the Manchester and Keene line.
