Departure of Missionaries and Wareroof Benefit

Departure of Rev N Harris wife and child and Miss Calista Vinton by the Bru tus to Burmah with on board services led by several ministers. Howard Atheneum offers complimentary benefit to George Jordan with Emily Mestayer and Owens. Amusements include Howard combination, Kellar troupe at Museum and Gilmore’s band at Music Hall. Mrs Leighton’s benefit drew a large crowd at the Howard Athenæum with $200 donated. Thomas Haskin found and returned $90 to a woman just after she received it from her seaman husband.
