In Providence on July 22, Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Knight of South Boston and Mr. and Mrs. Manton Coombs of Boston escaped serious injury when their car’s brake failed on College Hill. Knight steered into a paint shop to avoid an electric car, sending the car into the building. Mrs. Knight was injured lightly. the others suffered only minor hurts. The auto was badly damaged.

Drowning Tragedy as Skiff Capsizes Near Prudence Light
