The Democratic citizens of the Commonwealth are notified to choose delegates equal to twice their House representation to attend the Worcester convention on September 13. The meeting aims to select candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor and to consider a Democratic National Convention. George Bancroft chairs the State Committee. William E. Parmenter is secretary.
