Imported serge suits at $8.87 each sold well with no faults reported. Ready to wear trousers from remnants at $4.85 a pair attract daily orders. Seersucker coats and bathing wear offered reasonably this month.
G W Simmons and Company, located at 32 to 44 North street, Boston, details hours closing daily at 5 30 p m and Saturdays at 9 p m.

New Hampshire cattle commissioners lift general ban on New York cattle shipments except from Westchester New York Richmond Kings Queens and Suffolk counties. New Haven July 20 A strange method of fabricating crime cases emerges as William Mahoney of Cumberland Maryland sent a lead pencil letter to U S Deputy Marshal Lovejoy in Meriden alleging Kelsey and Co Meriden shipped counterfeit half dollars and moulds. Mahoney later claimed to have sent for samples and produced witnesses before being released to appear again July 15. Commissioner Sloane seeks to locate him.
Miss Elizabeth Tyler Clark daughter of Charles P. Clark of Newton and Rev Edward Young Hincks were married at the Clark summer residence in Krennepunkport Me. The old Lord mansion hosted a large gathering with elaborate decorations and a lawn tent for guests. The Rev Edward S Clark officiated. the couple will tour the East shortly after the ceremony.

He was a Connecticut native.
Hamilton reports deny that ex Alderman McCabe of New York is in the city. Relatives say he and his wife sailed from New York last Saturday for Europe, clarifying the earlier suggestion of his presence here.
