Public Band Formed Led by J Friedheim in Boston

A 16 member band including Signor Rametti and Joseph Pierce has formed and elected J Friedheim as leader. They offer services for military parades dinners picnics water excursions and serenades and pledge prompt, satisfactory performance. Applicants may contact 25 Stillman Street N B. The band states no connection with former Boston Brigade Band leader Mr Knight.

British Mail Steamer Britannia Arrives With July News

The Britannia left Liverpool July 4 and arrived July 19 after nearly two weeks at sea. Reports from London and Liverpool papers up to July 5 are included. Great Britain steamship arrives to cheers at Liverpool

The Great Britain steamed from Dublin and reached the Mersey last night amid cheers from thousands. Liverpool prepared for her call, with other steamers escorting her, as Dublin and Kingstown railway directors offered a £500 bonus to exhibitors. She sails to New York on the 26th, while exhibitors in Liverpool await curious crowds and strong interest.
