Democratic Meeting Sets July Ratification Parade
In the OLD EIGHTH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT a June meeting voted to hold a July 20 gathering in Dedham to ratify the Pierce and King nomination and the Baltimore platform. A committee of arrangements, led by N. R. Childs as chairman and Ezra S. Conant as secretary, will organize a 1 PM dinner by John Wright and a 11 AM Town Hall assembly with a parade led by George Thompson of Milton.
