Fish Receipts Slow With Mixed Trawler Arrivals
Yesterday's fish receipts were light with no mackerel or swordfish. The Pioneer brought haddock and cod to the fish pier while the Admiral landed flounders from the bay. Ripple held over haddock, Victory arrived with groundfish at T wharf, and the Zero from Newport England docked after fumigation. Lake Strabo shipped sulphur from Galveston and cleared at Mystic docks. A new law allows cargo steamers with lifeboat capacity to carry 16 passengers with needed certificates.
