Chicago July 18 The officers of the American Tin Plate Company and the Amalgamated Association wage committee agreed on a new scale granting a straight 15 percent increase. The raise takes effect from July 1 and will be the minimum for the year ending June 30 1900. Over 30 000 tinplate workers benefit from the adjustment.
