Salem July 10 special to the Post reports Philip Hoenig and Benjamin Melzard arrested on suspicion of breaking and entering. They claimed to have broken into a house near Worcester but were found to be wanted in Marblehead. State officers sent them to Worcester to verify the tale. The Read fund picnic at the Willows drew about 2000 children with rides, lunch, and flying horses. Some children were disappointed to miss tickets.
