Three electric car accidents injure people in East Boston Cambridgeport and South Boston. Mrs. Louisa Schmalle, 30, is critically hurt after falling between cars on Sumner Street near Rutland Street. loses her right hand and suffers scalp injuries. Isaac Archibald and a young woman escape serious injury when an electric car crashes into their carriage at Main and Brookline. Jeremiah Sullivan of Cambridgeport sustains a scalp wound and Thomas F of Jamaica Plain injures his right leg in a collision at D Street and West Broadway.
Chicago July 9 Special to the Post. A fiftic featherweight title bout between Johnny Griffin and Sally Smith takes place tomorrow evening at the Columbian Athletic Club.
