Dover collision sinks Dunholme with seventeen missing

Plan to Escape Foiled at Ohio Penitentiary

Wake of Philadelphia Sinks After Hull Breach Off Point Judith
Schooner Wake of Philadelphia, Captain Camp, with 250 tons of moulding sand, sprang a plank and sank in seventy feet of water near Point Judith on Sunday. Five crew members abandoned to a boat and were rescued by the steam yacht Alva. Built at Tuckahoe New Jersey, the 177 ton vessel was 91 feet long, 23 feet beam, and 9 feet deep.
