Session of the Summer School Opens with Eliot Address
The Cuban teachers arrived for a summer school opened with real enthusiasm among students. President Eliot spoke in the morning, followed by studies and later excursions as part of the day’s program.

President Eliot commended teachers for a long journey and described a six week mutual service experiment between American and Cuban education efforts. Students received books in Sever Hall, returning to Sanders Theatre for a geography lecture by Mr. Jefferson, Harvard graduate and Brockton High principal, with a stereopticon. Excursions began yesterday.

Cuban passengers fall ill after transport to Boston area

Endeavorers' Reception for London Delegates in Boston
