Boarding house owner attacked in Chelsea for robbery
Mrs. Margaret A. Siefert, 60, widow and boarding house operator at 76 Broadway Chelsea, was brutally struck by Patrick W. Slavin with a seven pound flat iron. Slavin fled with a $12 pocketbook and remained at large. Siefert is in precarious condition with head injuries and loss of blood. Dr. Hartwell A. Sibley warns she may die.
