The directors of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston and the Christian Science Publishing Society were warned of more litigation by General Frank H. Streeter, acting as counsel for Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy, founder of Christian Science, in a Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court case over control of the publishing group.
General Streeter testified in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court that Josiah Bb. Fernald of Concord New Hampshire a trustee of Mrs Eddy's personal estate says he was cheated when transferring Mrs Edy writings to the Christian Science Publishing Society for publication in 1917 The case against the directors is pending and New Hampshire courts may review the contract under which the transfer the Eddy estate now valued near 3 million dollars was reportedly reduced the contract allegedly limited future costs to the estate.
