The seven year old Carleton Clark, son of Forest Clark chief engineer of the steamship Harvard, was abducted yesterday for a second time in a case of child kidnapping reported from the harbor area.
Maude Clark loses custody of Carleton Clark as Mrs Geza Kremer, wife of New York Board of Health chairman, and five accomplices abduct the child from 93 Willowwood Street Dorchester seizing him in a closed carriage. The boy had been secreted in a closet and cries were ignored as they fled to New York.
Mrs. Catherine Mayall aged 58 of 12 Lee Street Somerville was struck by a taxicab at Berkeley and Boylston streets at 5 10 last evening and died fifteen minutes later. Chauffeur John J. Mahoney of 5 Shawmut Street was examined at Station 16 and then released.
A woman leaving the Christian Science reading room in the Berkeley building stepped onto Boylston street to signal a car when a taxicab carrying three men from a ball game struck her. The impact threw her forward and her head hit the pavement near Peach Point guest of Mrs. T H Shepard.
A black and white mongrel rabid dog roamed Aspinwall Hill Thursday, wounding none, until Washington and Park streets. After a patrolman wounded it, the dog fled and attacked Augustus Hogan before a wagon of officers cornered and shot it at Washington street.
July 2 Washington report says a Republican sub committee of the Senate finance committee agreed to prohibit prize coupons in tobacco and snuff packages and to raise most tariff schedule provisions. Increases cover plug and cut tobacco cigars cigarettes snuff and tobacco products.

In Newport Monmouthshire England July 2 a wall collapse at the Alexandra dock extension trapped 27 men in a 60 foot deep trench. Heavy shoring gave way flooding the trench hauling gear and rail cars into a collapse. Rescuers worked through the night as crowds gathered to watch the scene.

Mrs Lucy Cushing Parker widow of William Parker died last evening at her daughter Mrs Lucy W Flint 35 Allerton street Brookline aged 98 years She was a real daughter of the Revolution Her late husband was descended from the Parker family noted for Revolution War service.
