Libel in Steamer Cambridge Collision Case
A.M. Herrick sues Steamer Cambridge in the U S district court alleging the schooner Susan Ross sank after a June 18 collision ten miles west of Maphegan light. He seeks 4000 for loss of vessel and crew clothing value. Respondents say Susan Ross raised and sold near value. deny improper lights and claim proper care. Also notices in bankruptcy and a separate Boston Carpet Slipper Co suit. Trial set for Wednesday at 10 AM.
