Franklin Pierce for Vice President Meeting in Dedham

A mass meeting of Old Eighth Democrats in Dedham on July 20 at 11 morning will hear from delegates Sam Bradford and Bradford Wales about the Baltimore convention. The event endorses Pierce and King and the party platform with invited speakers from nearby states. George Thompson chairs, A Lorine Cusuinea secretary.

Democrats of Norfolk County to meet in Quincy July 5

Democrats of Norfolk County convene a mass meeting in Quincy on Monday July 5 to respond to the Baltimore convention nominations of Franklin Pierce of New Hampshire and William R. King of Alabama for president and vice president. Able speakers from nearby states will address the gathering. An arrangements committee will announce details later. Edmund Thomas, Chairman.
