Adams Square retailer JOH HN F. FITZGERALD advertises a Fourth of July sale offering extra value equal to the amount spent on suits of furnishings. Blue serges and all wool homespun promoted as specials for the holiday.
Five hundred members of the General Federation of Women's Clubs marched to the White House and obtained a final refusal from President Wilson to back suffrage demands. Continued on Page S5 Fourth Col.

The Earl of Wemyss and March died at a venerable age, leaving a legacy as a lively House of Lords figure. Born in 1818, he served in Parliament from 1841 to 1846 and 1847 to 1888, was Lord of the Treasury in 1852, and owned about 62 000 acres. Dublin New Hampshire June 30 Matthew Hale chairman of the Progressive State committee of Massachusetts has been pronounced out of danger by physicians and is expected to resume party work by August 1 He will stay at his summer home for now.
Former President Roosevelt spoke in Pittsburg for five hours, addressing the Pennsylvania Progressive League. He criticized the Wilson administration, attacked Senator Boise Penrose, and urged support for the Progressive ticket, though his vigor appeared diminished from two years ago.
