Frank A H Brown a grain merchant of 15 Mtral street was arrested on a warrant charging forging bills of lading dating to last year. C Haskins of Michigan shipped oats to Brown Burton aston with drafts. bills and drafts were sent to Fourth National Bank. Forged bills led to delivery of grain before discovery. Brown held in two sureties of 1000 each for Municipal Court appearance.

Washington June 30 Special Tom Bayne says most vetoed pension bills will pass with over ride votes from many Democrats. The pension committee will wait to report until appropriation bills are settled. The next House pension session Friday evening features Gibson of West Virginia rebutting Bayne. A quorum issue blocks action without evening attendance.

Newport Rhode Island June 30. Rev Van Horn testifies Mrs Dorsey confessed plotting her father’s murder. She knew the time and sought neighbors to avoid the gunfire. Afternoon session corroborated. Jury finds both Dorseys guilty and sentences them to life at hard labor in Providence County Jail.

At about 2 o clock alumni lined up in front of Massachusetts Hall as the band led the procession toward Memorial Hall. N P Hallowell served as chief marshal with a long list of aides and marshals guiding the classes. The line began at 2 39 and circled past Matthews Hall to Memorial Hall with President Eliot leading beside Leverett Saltonstall. The vast turnout delayed the rear until seating.
