Union Arrives With 400 Seamen and Detachment for Gulf Squadron

New York reports the supply steamer Union arriving from Pensacola and Key West, bringing 400 seamen for the West Gulf Squadron, 42 Pennsylvania Volunteers under Lieut Seaver, and 100 sick sailors. It notes the capture of the schooner North Carolina off Jupiter Inlet on the 10th. Acting Assistant Paymaster A O Winter died aboard the Union on the 28th.
