Warren Street Chapel Holds Fifty Second Annual Meeting

Earlier, an 8 PM still alarm at 4 Fountain Place reported a chimney fire with no damage. Also, two electric wires shorted in the Hotel Warren office near the ceiling triggered an alarm.

Union Furniture Company creditors seek insolvency petition
The Union Furniture Company at 24 Union Street held yesterday a committee report showing liabilities of 23 466 65 with 5000 secured by mortgage on stock. Assets were scaled to 648 65. Creditors voted to petition for insolvency and to appoint George W Kent as assignee. James H Hill of Cambridgeport owes 3116 with about 1000 unencumbered assets.

Stableman Henry A Adams died after a fall from a doorway near company stables amid confrontations with three suspected strikers.
