Not an honest messenger steals watch in Chelsea
A messenger boy from the American House took a gold hunting case watch from Mrs. Mary Currier in Chelsea yesterday afternoon. The thief, identified as 16 year old James Doherty, was arrested after the watch was found hidden in a closet at the State House office. Doherty will answer in Chelsea Police Court.

Parcel raid nets whiskey and gun seized at Canney store
