J T Frazier Lendley Malone and Frank Purdy crewmen on the schooner Athena were hurled from deck by a giant comber in a 75 mile gale last Wednesday. They were swept overboard and then carried back aboard as a second wave struck, leaving witnesses stunned by the remarkable escape from death.
