Grant Gillett known as the Kansas cattle plunger will return to the United States and meet his creditors in Kansas City on or before February 1. C. F. Hunt, representing Gillett, says a full understanding has been reached with creditors, that Mr and Mrs Gillett will travel north, and that no prosecution will follow over alleged mortgage transactions. Commuters Seek Train Change Relief On New Haven Line

Residents of Roslindale and all stations on the Dedham and West Roxbury branch testified before Railroad Commissioners yesterday about morning and evening inconveniences from having to change trains at Forest Hills to reach Roxbury and other way stations. Lawyer Minton for petitioners offered changes to two morning trains and one or two evening trains. The matter was taken under advisement.

Lewiston Holds Dingley in State at City Hall

Nelson Dingley’s remains lay in state five hours at Lewiston City Hall with crowds paying tribute. Augusta Journal Reports Po Dies of Nelson Dingley

After election of Senator today a communication from Governor Po announced to the Legislature the death of the Hon. Nelson Dingley. Rests of respect were observed by both houses with brief speeches. A joint committee of Senators Clason White and Hams and Representatives Stetson Harris Murphy Brown Hix Jordan was named to attend the funeral. A large delegation of state officials will accompany the committee.

Strike unrest in Marlboro as two female workers flee crowd

In Marlboro on January 17 a protest at the local factory drew about 100 people. Two female operatives were escorted from the factory to their boarding house amid threats and violence. Police chief Wade arrived to observe the situation and assess progress.
