Reform Charter for Boston Cities Council Proposed by League

The Municipal Reform League adopted a reform charter for Boston including an apportioning board and a $3000 council salary. A proportional representation plan was also approved for Legislature consideration. Brandeis sent a $500 check to support reform work amid debate on one-term limits and salaries. The committee reports were accepted and officers to be chosen next meeting.

A blaze wrecked the West End Street Railway car stables on Columbus Avenue near Camden Street after midnight.
