John Palmer a painter was employed to work at 104 Harrison avenue. About 5 30 yesterday he was found dead in a room, apparently suffocated by gas. Three gas jets were on full and a small stove overturned. Doors and windows were closed. A doctor from the Emergency Hospital arrived too late.
In Wasminctox Jan 15 the House resumed debate on Holman subsidy and economy resolutions. Holman withdrew the motion after arguing the second resolution covered all proper appropriations.
