Boston House Debates Omnibus Bill on Salaries and Amendments

In Boston the house debated a bill restricting appropriations to single objects and considered salary cuts to old rates. Speakers argued for and against special appropriations and omnibus bills, with motions to adjourn or defer to Monday. The speaker announced the treasurer’s annual report and named a committee for Judge Loring’s removal. The session adjourned before two o clock.
