Cambridge student held on forgery charges
William H. McLean a 21 year old Cambridge Institute senior was held in 1000 bonds for the grand jury after allegedly rifling a campus mailbox and forging an endorsement on a 75 50 check. He is expected to face additional forgery charges as several missing checks are pursued by police. He home is Holyoke and the incident involved cashing the forged check for an overcoat at 88 Massachusetts Avenue.
