Lotta Crabtree seeks sale of Park Theatre estate in Boston

Boston reports Lotta Crabtree and her mother plan to sell the Park Theatre and part of Hotel Reynolds for about 1.1 million dollars. The property has housed the theatre since its 19th century opening under Abbey and Schoeffel, later run by Jack Crabtree and Fred Piper, with Eugene Tompkins the current lessee. The future use depends on the new owner and Tompkins’s lease.
