He can buckle thick oak leather around his chest and inhale deeply and dislocate abdominal organs at will, a performance also shown at Harvard Medical School about a year earlier.
The first presentation in this country of A H Chamberlyn's Morocco Bound arrives at Park Theatre with a full company. The London hit features music by Osmond Carr, lyrics by Adrian Ross, and book by Arthur Branscombe. Leading players include Dan Collyer and W Herman West among a long list. chorus has 60 young women.
Yale undergraduates packed the house as the English musical comedy My Antoinette drew loud acclaim for its pretty girls costumes music and scenes. Iv an Caryll and George Dance are credited with the show which was Americanized and directed by A I Aarons with Daniel V Arthur managing. The cast included Charles E Evans Josephine Hall Edith Bradford Maid Barnard and Templar Saxe among about 60 performers from Weber & Fields Rogers Brothers and Klaw & Erlanger. The production will leave for Boston Sunday.
