Commissions Abolished By Passenger Ticket Agreement
New York January 9 The joint executive committee of the Trunk Line and Central Traffic Associations representing lines east of Chicago to the seaboard met at the Trunk Line office and agreed to abolish commissions on passenger ticket sales. An advisory four member board will rule. If a complaint is not answered in fifteen days the board will act. If a violation is found the committee can halt business with the road until settled. Decisions may be reviewed by the same committee. The four executive officers and five named commissioners form the committee. The aim is to end commissions and adopt differential fares. The change takes effect February 1.
