Tragedy at Mohawk River Drownings In New York

Ni Sinane and Dana Greene of General Electric drowned while ice skating on the Mohawk River. Screams alerted Bellevue shore workers. Mrs Greene died shortly after being pulled from the water. Greene, GE sales head, recovered three hours later. He served as navig ating officer aboard the Yankee and was known in New York club circles. His father was a Civil War Monitor lieutenant.

Greene well known in Boston and Lynn for decades

Dana Greene drowned yesterday with his wife at Schenectady New York. He was a longtime executive at Thomson Houston Electric and its successor General Electric, in charge of a department at Atlantic Avenue offices and well known at Lynn factories.
