Boston and Northern street railway crews are under accusation by relatives of 16 year old Mary Ann Kennedy who says she rode Beachmont line electrics from Thursday night to Friday morning and again Friday night to Saturday morning without paying full fares. She was found by Officer James C Wiley and taken to her aunt in Cambridge after wandering the night away. She describes a brief hire as a domestic worker and partial pay, with payments inconsistently made. Relatives and Cambridge residents contend crew involvement and possible coercion influenced her.
