Body identified in fatal Mt Bowdoin train strike
The man found near Mt Bowdoin station Saturday morning with his head crushed by a train on the New York New Haven and Hartford tracks has been identified as 60 year old McAlpin of 4 Bower Place Roxbury. He was believed killed while walking the tracks and had worked as a fireman for a Summer Street firm. Letters in his pockets and a notice in papers of the finding led to identification. He will be buried today.
