Bram seeks new trial in murder case

A. P. French representing Thomas M. Bram filed a bill for a new trial in the United States Circuit Court about 4 pm yesterday. Bram, found guilty in the Charles Street jail murder, remained calm and occupied with papers and books as government witnesses pressed for funds. District Attorney Hoar said no change in witness disposition is planned. Nash, brother of the victim, defended the verdict as supported by evidence.
