Temperance Governor Clark Inaugurated At Albany

Albany January 2 1854 crowds filled the streets as Myron H Clark the temperance governor took the oath with secretary of state present. A vast cortege of military companies and notable citizens gathered to witness the ceremony and the new political order. The Worth Guards paid respects to a general’s widow as cheers and anticipation ran through the capital.
